Humanity is taking strides into the future- not in baby steps but huge, skipping leaps. Our focus is all environmental, which is a good thing. Were viewing the world through a green lens instead of rose-colored glasses, and learning that weve been slowly killing our planet, thinning the ozone layer and using up our natural resources.
Weve been issuing carbon taxes and cap and trade systems (both ways of reding CO2 and SO2 emissions), urging commuters to ride the rails or car pool, and generally limiting destruction factors.
But is it enough?
Its a start. And only time will tell if we truly have what it takes to pull our act together and save our planet before its too late.
The most important breakthrough, however, is the use of alternative fuel sources, which could drastically speed up the whole super-hero thing. Because, if we stop using fossil duels, we both conserve our natural resources and limit or change the kinds of em
